He received a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree from Texas A & M. and a Juris Doctor degree from South Texas College of Law. Judge Cason has been licensed to practice law in all Texas state courts since 1965 and he has been licensed to practice law before the United States Supreme Court since 1980. He is a former agricultural science teacher, past Chair of the Lower Colorado River Authority Board of Directors and was previously the General Counsel for the National Association of Conservation Districts, Washington, D.C. Judge Cason has current and past experience as a City Attorney, Prosecutor and Municipal Court Judge. The court is located at 121 N. McCarty, Eagle Lake, Texas 77434. The office is open from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The Court does not accept personal checks for payment of fines. Payment MUST be in the form of a cashier’s check or money order made payable to Justice of the Peace, Precinct Four – Colorado County. Official Payments, the service provider, charges a nominal fee for this service. If payment is made by credit card, paperwork MUST be mailed in.
