• COLORADO COUNTY IS CURRENTLY UNDER A BURN BAN.  Commissioners Court renewed Burn Ban on September 22, 2025 for 90 days from the date of this Order, unless the restrictions are terminated earlier based on a determination made by this Court or the County Judge.

• Notice of Road Closure, Precinct 3:  Reichardt Road will be closed to thru traffic starting December 3 and will be closed for approximately 6 months for bridge replacement at the San Bernard River (Austin Count line at beginning of Frantz Road).  

• Colorado County Offices will be closed Thursday and Friday, November 27 and 28, 2025 in observance of Thanksgiving.

COLORADO COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE.  THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 5.21% AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $22.25.
